SITEE RIVER, Stann Creek—Ryan Budd, 21, a worker at Sittee Point in the Stann Creek District, is recovering at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital after he was hit on the head by his supervisor, causing him to lose consciousness and suffer head injuries.

The incident occurred at about 8:00 Saturday morning in Sittee. Budd told police that he reported to work, and while at work, his supervisor got into an argument with him concerning work issues.

Budd stated that while he was bending down to tie his shoelace, the supervisor hit him with a board in the head, causing him to lose consciousness.

When Budd awoke, he was in the Southern Regional hospital. Doctors there sent him to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for further treatment.
