12 primary school teachers charged for social gathering

General12 primary school teachers charged for social gathering

DANGRIGA, Tues. Nov. 3, 2020– Twelve teachers from Sacred Heart Primary School in Dangriga were charged for violation of Quarantine Regulations after they were found at a restricted social event on the afternoon of Friday, October 30.

Those teachers are Sharon Martinez, Dedra Palacio, Laura Van Stuivenberg, Naomi Valencio, Shenda Godoy, Jean Bregal, Deneen Cayetano, Aurelia Noralez, Loretta Lucas, Jenia Jeneane, Ingrid Ellis and Eliane Alvarez.

Acting on information received, Dangriga police showed up at 2:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Primary School. where they found the teachers socializing inside a classroom on a lower flat of one of the school buildings.

Police say all teachers were informed of the offence, and they were cautioned and taken to the police station, where they were charged.
