4 masked bandits terrorize San Francisco Street residents

General4 masked bandits terrorize San Francisco Street residents

One of the neighbors, who spoke with the woman and their daughters, told us what had occurred early Monday morning.

According to the neighbor, the woman went to her house ?bawling at the front door early in the morning.? The woman had appeared very frightened as she stood at the door, shaking, with tears running down her face.

The woman told the neighbor that four men dressed in black clothing had entered her home by removing two louvers of a window. The men awoke them – she and her two daughters – and asked the whereabouts of packages that they believed to contain drugs, and the whereabouts of a male individual.

When the woman told them that she didn?t know what they were talking about, the men tied her and her 8-year-old daughter?s hands and feet together, to the woman?s bed.

The men then ransacked the woman?s home when the woman and her daughters insisted that they were not able to tell them anything.

The men then told the 19-year-old daughter, who was in the room but had not been tied, to go outside, and she told her mother, who continued to cry, ?Don?t scream or say anything, or else they might kill me.?

The three men took the 19-year-old girl behind the house, said the neighbor, while the fourth man was left to watch the woman and her 8-year-old daughter.

The three men, along with the girl, who was crying, then returned inside the house, and the neighbor said that the woman told her that the men then ran out of the house.

According to the neighbor, the 8-year-old girl had managed to untie her mother, because the 19-year-old girl was in shock and was lying on the floor in a fetal position. She cried until later that morning, the neighbor said.

Yesterday, the woman and her two daughters, who were the only persons living in the house, packed their belongings and moved to another house.

The 8-year-old girl told one of the neighbors, yesterday, ?We di pack up, we noh wah live here noh mo, because we fraid.?

Today, the woman and her daughters won?t go back to live at the house, because they say that they fear that the men would return and harm them.

The neighbor said that everyone is trying to be prepared, because they were all scared.

?We do not know which house they will go into next. The lady whose house they went into and tied her and her daughter, was a nice lady who I always talk to. She works very hard as a domestic for her children,? she said.

Another neighbor who lives on San Francisco Street said that early yesterday morning, Wednesday, another home was entered. It is said to be the home of a policeman, who resides on San Francisco Street.

According to the neighbor, the men, who are believed to be the same persons who assaulted the woman and her two daughters, cut the policeman?s face.

Another neighbor, who is also afraid of being attacked by the masked men, told us, ?The men had tried to enter another home after they left the policeman?s home, but the people inside were prepared for them.?

The neighbor said that one of the men had already removed louvers from the front window. The noise woke the woman, and she got a machete and awoke her husband.

The husband got a bat, and he and his wife, both armed, went to the window.

The man hit one of the intruders on his fingers as he tried to move another louver.

The man who was hit ran into the street, and the other three followed. These men were also described as wearing masks and dressed in black clothing.

According to police, they had received reports from a policeman that four masked men were inside his yard. These men are believed to be the same persons involved in the other incidents.

Residents say that the homes that the masked men are targeting are those homes that are in yards that are not fenced and are close to the street.

Police say that they have set up a 24-hour task force in the area and are investigating the related incidents.
