The boy?s mother, on Sunday, November 20, rescued her son from inside Domingo Chuc?s house around 2:45 p.m. He is her neighbour.
The boy was found with his pants down to his knees. He was bleeding from the nose and mouth and he had red marks around his neck as if though he was being strangled. He did not have on his shirt, which was full of blood.
The boy, who appeared too weak to talk, told his mother that Domingo Chuc and David Camara wanted to have sex with him.
Angry villagers held Chuc and his friend, David Camara, who appeared drunk, and had run out the house and down the street. They were nabbed two houses away.
The woman said that the boy said that while he was playing one of the men told him to go inside the house.
The boy is very traumatized from the incident. We were told that the child jumps out of his sleep and tries to run out of his bedroom. When he is asked where he is going, he tells his parents that he is afraid and is running from two men, who are trying to catch him.
The woman said that her son is not attending school right now and is attending counseling sessions. He plays in the yard, but he does not go near the fence next to Chuc?s house.
The boy is still badly bruised on various parts of his body, and has blood clots in his eyes. A medical officer who examined the child confirmed that he had stripped skin near his anal area, but his anus was intact. He is scheduled to undergo further examinations tomorrow, Friday.
Camara, 36, and Chuc, 46, are on remand at the Hattieville Prison, and are scheduled to reappear in court on Thursday, December 22.
