Dwight Moore, 47, a son of Miss Don who lived with her at the house, said she died before she reached the KHMH. Ten hours later, Mrs. Rosalee Heusner, 45, a housewife and mother who resided on the ground floor of the same house, died from a heart attack while she was in bed talking with her husband, Karl Heusner, 49. Karl said he and Rosalee were conversing at about 12:15 this morning when she suddenly complained to him that she was having difficulty breathing. Shortly afterwards, her heart stopped beating, said Karl. ?It happened so suddenly I couldn?t believe it,? he said. By the time the ambulance arrived, Rosalee had already died, said Karl. Rosalee had left the wake of her friend and neighbour, Miss Don, about 45 minutes before she suffered the fatal cardiac arrest. Clothilda Roberts, Dwight Moore?s common-law wife, said Rosalee was at Miss Don?s wake and she did not leave until about 11:30 p.m. ?I was very surprised when I heard the news of Rosalee?s death,? said Roberts. Paula Sosa, a friend and neighbour of Rosalee and Miss Don, said both deaths came as a shock to her, especially Rosalee?s. ?I was shocked over the news of Miss Don?s death, and when I heard that Rosalee had died, I couldn?t believe it, I had to come see for myself,? said Paula. Laura Rudon, another friend and neighbour of the deceased women, was also dismayed about their deaths. She said Miss Don was a lady she knew for years, and Rosalee was a regular customer at her beauty parlour. ?Like Ms. Sosa, I couldn?t believe they died,? said Rudon. Miss Don, apart from Dwight, is survived by a second son, Percival Mejia, who lives in Los Angeles. She is also survived by four grandchildren and two daughters-in-law. Funeral services will be held for Miss Don at St. Joseph Church on Friday, July 29. She was a member of the Rising Star Lodge, Chapter 6, located on Regent Street West. Mrs. Rosalee Heusner, besides her husband, is survived by sons Karl, Jr., whose 20thbirthday was two days ago; Kareem, 16; Khalil, 10; and daughters Lydia, 28; Kyla, 22, and Delcia, whose 28thbirthday is tomorrow. Delcia and Kyla reside in the United States. Rosalee will be buried at Lord Ridge Cemetery on Tuesday, August 2, after funeral services at St. John?s Cathedral.
