Yesterday, Wednesday, in the Belize City Magistrate Court #2, Belize City residents Winston Jones, 26, of #120 East Canal; Windell Vernon, 23, of #101 Antelope Street Extension; and Glenn Jordan, 25, of #29 Aloe Vera Street, were arraigned on charges of conspiracy to commit murder and murder before Magistrate Dorothy Flowers.

A week prior to their arraignment, 23-year-old Chadrick Debride of #33 Ross Pen Road was charged with the officer?s murder. Debride had been on remand at the Hattieville Prison, but on yesterday, he joined the three men in court, where he was additionally charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

Jones, Vernon, Jordan and Debride were all remanded on Wednesday, but they are due to return to court on January 27.

Just three weeks prior to Raymundo?s murder, the police had laid to rest PC#956, Euwin Armstrong, who was shot to death on November 26, near the Farmer?s Market.

Both Raymundo and Armstrong, from the same intake squad, had been shot in the head, execution style.

A third police officer, PC #878 Morris Martinez, who had been ?missing in action? (MIA) since December 22, 2004, was found dead early this afternoon, apparently chopped to death. No one has yet been charged with his murder.
