This morning, Jennifer Tillett, 33, of 4142 Jane Usher Boulevard, was arraigned for burglary when she appeared before Magistrate Dale Cayetano.
According to police, at 2:10 this morning, Farima Gordon, a resident of 49 Fabers Road, was at her home sleeping when someone making noises inside her house work her up.
Gordon told police that she got up to investigate, and as she entered her dining room, she saw Tillett standing beside her dining table and dressed in a blue blouse, long jeans pants and a white cloth wrapped around her head.
Tillett initially pleaded guilty to the charge, telling the magistrate that, “I was in a paranoid state and went into the wrong house,” but the plea was changed to not guilty.
She was offered bail of $3,000 and one surety of the same amount, and is due to reappear in court on March 4, 2014.
