BELIZE CITY–Effective today, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), a mixture of propane and butane cooking gas, will inch down by a dollar on the 100-pound cylinder, according to an announcement from the Supplies Control Unit in the Ministry of Trade, Investment Promotion, Private Sector Development and Consumer Protection.

LPG sourced from Mexico will now cost $113 in the City, down from $114, while the cost will be $118 in Punta Gorda, down from $119.

Meanwhile, LPG sourced from Central America will be $3 cheaper, but the price of LPG sourced from BNE will remain unchanged at $108 per 100-pound cylinder.
