C-Ray Saturday Race #3 results

BELIZE CITY, Sat. Jan. 24, 2015–The C-Ray Cycling Club continued its C-Ray Saturday Race series today with #3 in the Saturday Race Series.

The race started (and finished) at Leslie’s Imports, went up the George Price (Western) Highway, into the Boom Road, turned at the Boom Bridge, and return to the Leslie’s Imports, for a distance of 45 miles.

47 participants took part in the race – 2 Females, 12Juniors, 6 Cat 4/5, and 27 Elite.

Below are the results:

FEMALE – 1st Alicia Thompson; 2 nd Kaya Cattouse.

JUNIOR – 1st Darien Anderson (3 st consecutive win); 2nd Shane Jones; 3rd Yan Cattouse.
Category 4/5 – 1st Kenroy “Smokes” Gladden; 2nd Michael Lewis.

ELITE – 1st Brandon Cattouse (of the 3 races so far, he won 2 and placed 3rd in one); 2nd Gregory Lovell; 3rd Erwin Middleton; 4th Angel Tzib; 5th Mark Staine.

The C-Ray Cycling Club invites all cyclists to come out next week Saturday, January 31, for the 4th race in the series. Race starts at 6:00 a.m. in front of Leslie’s, travels up the George Price Highway, makes a right at the Hattieville roundabout, travels the Boom road, and turns at the half-way point at the Boom Bridge, to finish at Leslie’s. Registration is $10.00.
