GeneralSpouse jumps vehicle during domestic dispute

LADYVILLE, Belize District, June 15, 2015–While police have not published an official report on the incident as yet, Amandala understands that an unidentified woman suffered varying degrees of injuries to her body when she reportedly jumped out of a moving SUV during a domestic dispute with her spouse yesterday at around 6:00 p.m.

Reliable police sources have indicated to us that the couple was engaged in an altercation inside the Chevy Blazer when the woman reportedly jumped out and injured herself near the La Popular Bakery, which is located along the Philip Goldson Highway in Ladyville.

We were told that police took a statement from the driver of the vehicle this morning and that the woman has since confessed to authorities that she was not pushed out of the moving vehicle.

The couple is said to have been heading home to the Lake Garden area in Ladyville at the time of the incident.

The vehicle has been impounded while police investigations continue; however, the driver has not been detained.
