BELIZE CITY, Mon. Aug. 15, 2016–The BDBA Firms Tournament 2016 regular season finished with two games on Saturday night at the BES Gym. In the opener, Belize Bank Bulldogs clipped Central Health, 100-87; and in the nightcap, a back match from a July 7 rain-out game, it was Heritage Bank, 77-67, over Infotel.
Quarterfinal playoffs take place on Friday and Saturday at the BES Gym according to the following schedule:
Friday, August 19
7:00 p.m. – (Game A) #1 Dragons vs #8 Heritage Bank Heatz
8:30 p.m. – (Game D) #4 Bulldogs vs #5 BWSL
Saturday, August 20
7:00 p.m. – (Game B) #2 Warriors vs #7 BTL
8:30 p.m. – (Game C) #3 Infotel vs #6 Atlantic Bank
NOTE: Quarterfinals are “knockout” games. Winners of Games A and D will meet in one semi-final, and winners of Games B and C will meet in the other semi-final.
