BELMOPAN, Mon. Dec. 2, 2017–The 2nd leg in the best-of-2 games semifinals of the Belmopan Football Association’s (BFA) Hon. John Saldivar Kids, Youth & Female Cup Late Tournament 2017 was held on Saturday and Sunday, December 2 & 3, at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium.

In game 1 on Saturday, (U-13) Spanish Lookout crushed Bandits, 6-2, with 2 goals each from Randy Elias (1’ & 13’) and Derrick Guerra (8’ & 40’), and 1 from Jonathan Guenther (17’) along with an own goal from the Bandits’ Kristian Jones (11’ OG); while Bandits’ got a goal each from Luis Montero (14’) and Kevin Young (39’). (1st leg – Spanish Lookout 3:2 Bandits; aggregate score – Spanish Lookout 9:4 Bandits.) Game 2 saw (U-13) YWAM Valencia shelling Mountain View Revolution, 6-0, with goals from Rannie Villacorta (10’), Zylin Flowers (15’ & 43’), Tayshaun Meighan (17’), Darwin Neal (29’) and Dylon Gongora (30’). (1st leg – YWAM 2:0 Mountain View; aggregate score – YWAM 8:0 Mountain View.) In game 3, (U-15) Mountain View Revolution won, 1-0, over Armenia FC, courtesy of a goal by Jose Miranda (39’). (1st leg – Mountain View 1:1 Armenia; aggregate score – Mountain View 2:1 Armenia.) In game 4, (U-15) it was Piccini Rising Stars, 3-1, over Bandits. Piccini got a goal each from Daijon Daniels (24’), Angel Sanchez (59’) and Duane Monichol (61’); while the lone goal for Bandits was by Rhajjed Reyes (69’). (1st leg – Piccini 4:1 Bandits; aggregate score – Piccini 7:2 Bandits.)

In the opener on Sunday, (U-17) Piccini Rising Stars dropped Bandits, 2-0, with Joshawn Flowers (2’ & 14’) netting both goals. In the 1st semifinal leg, Bandits had prevailed, 3-1, over Piccini; so the aggregate score then stood at 3-3, resulting in a penalty shootout, which Piccini won, 4-3. Penalty conversions for Piccini were by Joshawn Flowers, Jose Garcia, Lucas Hunt and Derick Osorio; while Bandits scorers were Edwin Ramos, Jovanne Ramos and Jahlin Pelayo. The final aggregate score was therefore, Piccini Rising Stars, 7-6, over Bandits. The other U-17 2nd leg semifinal saw Mountain View Revolution with the 2-1 win over San Martin Medina. Kyle Jacobs (31’ & 36’) got both goals for Mountain View, while Selvin Maas (55’) scored for San Martin. It was the same score in the first leg, 2-1, for Mountain View over San Martin; so the aggregate score was Mountain View Revolution, 4-2, over San Martin Medina.

The Finals, which begin this weekend at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium, are also best-of-2 games series.

10:00 a.m. – (U-17 Females) BMP Compre Flames vs Valley of Peace Girls
11:00 a.m. – (U-13) YWAM Valencia vs Spanish Lookout
12:30 p.m. – (U-15) Piccini Rising Stars vs Mountain View Revolution
2:00 p.m. – (U-17) Piccini Rising Stars vs Mountain View Revolution
