Corozal F.A. U-tournaments continue to be a success

SportsCorozal F.A. U-tournaments continue to be a success

COROZAL TOWN, Tues. Feb. 26, 2019– This week marked our third week of ongoing football U-tournaments at the Ricalde Stadium.  It continues to be a success. Seeing the big smile in each player from as young as 7 years to 18 years, makes our day and keeps motivating us to strive for the best. It gives us the satisfaction that what we are doing is right, and it is impacting these young pre-teens and teenagers for a better tomorrow. Through sports they are able to develop on their skills, persona, and social development.

This week we want to recognize a young player that motivated us last year to start off the U-10 tournament. He has been playing football from an early age and, as acknowledged by his parents, through football, he has been able to be a better person, and has been able to perform well in school, and as a motivation he is supported to engage in football. He is Abel Ochaeta (9 years old), who plays with the Corozal Invaders U-10. We encourage all parents to keep being supportive of their children.
