BELMOPAN, Mon. Oct. 25, 2021 –A Belize City resident, Jarhiem Staine, who was being sought by the Police Department in connection with the forgery of Belizean dollars, was reportedly found today, Monday, October 25. Crime Stoppers Belize had issued an alert stating that the department was seeking him out for questioning in regards to multiple reports of counterfeit BZ$100 in both Belmopan and Roaring Creek.

Police said that he may have been using a beige-colored car with license plate, BC C-67164. Crime Stoppers Belize released flyers over this weekend and urged anyone with relevant information to anonymously contact them via their international hotline.

Jarhiem Staine is expected to be arrested and charged and remanded to the Belize Central Prison within the coming days.
