BELIZE CITY, Wed. June 8, 2022

   Our Belize Girls U15 National Team are currently in San Jose, Costa Rica participating in an UNCAF FIFA Forward 2022 tournament comprising 7 teams – 5 from Central America and 2 from the Caribbean.  The tournament, which is supposed to be a “preparation tournament” for the big UNCAF Central American tournament in August of this year is divided into two groups of 4 and 3 teams, respectively.  Belize is in the 3-team Group B along with El Salvador and Dominican Republic.

   In our first match yesterday, El Salvador blasted our girls, 7-0.  And tomorrow our U15 girls get to redeem themselves against Dominican Republic.
