I would like to remember the Hon. John Saldivar for the many good things he has done for Belize as an area representative. However, those are going to be interred with his bones. His failure, his refusal to accept the unwritten rule in politics that perception is reality, will live after him.

Paraphrasing Shakespeare, you came into this world, grew up, and you performed on the stage of life. Now you’ve finished your recitation, exit, before they stone you off the stage with tomatoes.
