As we go to press tonight, word has been received of the passing of another Belizean stalwart, Kremandala neighbor Carlos Diaz. Carlos was a well-known businessman and former member of the House of Representatives as PUP area rep. for the Lake Independence constituency during 1989-1993. Reportedly, he had been ailing for some time. Our sincerest condolences to his family and all his relatives and friends. R.I.P, brother Carlos Diaz!
