ARIMA, TRINIDAD, Thurs. Aug. 8, 2024

The Belize Baby Jaguars girls enjoyed their first win, 3-2, over Barbados at the CONCACAF Under-15 Female Championships at the Larry Gomes Stadium in Arima, Trinidad on Thursday, August 8.

Shanalee Smith (2) and Arella Cal (1) scored the goals for their 3-2 victory over the Bajan girls.

Betsy Perez (29’) of Guinea Grass had scored Belize’s only goal in their 5-1 loss to Honduras on Monday, and they also lost, 1-0, to Cuba on Tuesday.

The U-15 Baby Jaguars girls play one remaining match in Friday’s playoffs to determine the final standings.
