Undefeated Berger United is leading the 5th Hon. Anthony Mahler Under-13 Mundialito, sponsored by Belize Tourism Board and organized by the Belize District Football Association, enjoying their 6th and 7th wins at the Berger Field in Belize City on Saturday and Sunday, November 30 – December 1.

In Game 1 on Saturday morning, the Ladyville Rising Stars got the easy bye to their 4th win, 3-0, over Tut Bay FC, who were a no-show.

In Game 2, the defending champions, Belize United also got the bye to their 4th win, 3-0, over the Sampson-Brown Bombers, who forfeited.

In Game 3, Breylin Middleton scored a brace, (12’ & 29’), as he led Berger United to their 6th win, 4-1, over Ebony Lake. Kashawn Dennison (4’) scored the first goal, and Adolfo Gomez (32’) added a 4th goal to complete the rout. Only Jerrod Tillett (26’) scored a consolation goal for Ebony Lake.

In Game 4, the Reality Youths enjoyed their 4th win, 6-1, over Phoenix FC, led by Gregory Harris’ brace (5’ & 9’) in the first quarter. Zevann Vivas’ brace, (15’ & 31’) and Ethan Portillo’s brace (20’ & 30’) sealed the win. Only Darwin Hernandez (6’) scored for Phoenix FC.

On Sunday, in Game 1, Berger United got the bye to their 7th win, 3-0, when Phoenix FC forfeited their last regular season match.

In Game 2, Ebony Lake FC picked up their first win, 3-0, when Tut Bay were a no show for their final match of the regular competition.

In Game 3, Belize United enjoyed their 5th win, 2-0, over the Reality Youths, when Christopher Gilharry converted a penalty (14’) and Ralph Mendoza (16’) blasted in a free kick past the wall of defenders and just inside the left upright.

In Game 4, the Ladyville Rising Stars also got the bye to their 5th win, when the Sampson-Brown Bombers were short one player and thus had to forfeit.
