Undefeated Alvian Strikers won the Belize District Football Association (BDFA) Under-15 female championship final, 2-1, over the 2-time BTB Mundialito champions, Royal Fusion, at the Berger Field in Belize City on Sunday afternoon, February 16.

Treniece Amaya’s brace (6’ & 40’) secured the title for Alvian Strikers, as only Jocelyn Zuniga (30’) scored a consolation goal for Royal Fusion.

In Saturday’s semifinals, Camryn Henry’s double hat trick (2’, 6’, 15’, 27’, 29’ & 32’) led the Alvian Strikers’ 9-0 rout of Phoenix FC, with other goals by Treniece Amaya (4’), Charika Humes (9’) and Aisha Reyes (12’).

In Game 2, Jocelyn Zuniga’s beaver hat trick (5’, 29’, 35’, 43’ and 49′) led Royal Fusion’s 7-0 walk over the Goal Getters, with other goals by Tatiana Martinez (13’) and Sheren Humes (52’).

The champions and sub-champions will receive their team trophies and individual awards when the BDFA holds its awards ceremony sometime next month.
