Trans politics!

FeaturesTrans politics!

Gavin Newsom caused a stir in the Democratic Party this week by coming out against transgender men participating in women’s sports. This is something that 80% of all Americans agree with, including yours truly. Kamala Harris did not push back against these totally unacceptable policies being pushed by a minority in her party, and suffered the consequences. Transgenders are a very tiny minority of a population of over 330 million Americans, and should be respected for their choices in changing their gender for their own personal reasons and gains; that is their choice. It should never have become a political issue; but it did, to the detriment of a party that seems more interested in being politically correct, than dealing with issues that affect the common person. So, the poor and the independents voted for a Trump presidency. Wat a ting!

Instead of listening to their voters, the Democratic leadership focused on what was happening on social media, which represents a very vocal and insistent minority. These special interest groups led the Democrats by the nose, which led them to ignore more pressing issues, like an unchecked immigration policy, and all the different pronouns that now defined a small sector of the voting public. Instead of tackling and making sure the voices of the masses were heard and their issues acted upon, Democrats chose political correctness, and went down because they seemed clueless to their constituents.

Meanwhile, Trump and the Republican Party kept hammering on issues that would divide us —Trans politics, immigration, DEI, crime—which caught the attention of the undecideds and eked out a win in 2024. Trump, the ultimate salesman, convinced voters who loathed him to vote for him, while Kamala and the Dems played nice. They remind me of the Republican Congress who are now being held hostages by Trump and Musk, who, with mafia-style efficiency, keep them in check. Like Putin and Kim and Xi, they brook no opposition.

The Democrats, like the UDP, are leaderless and rudderless and need someone with balls to knock some sense into their thick skulls. They need to fight fire with fire, bully the bullies, get in their faces. But noooo, they say, we cannot go down to their level; we must show restraint and respect and engender the confidence of the voters. How is that working so far for you, you spineless clowns?

I have always decried political correctness! I believe in mutual respect for each other, regardless of race or gender or religion. I believe we are all equal, and that no one should get preferential treatment, except for the poor and marginalized, and all that, only to a certain extent.

The Democrats have always been the party of the poor, the reasonable; of people who could read and write and think for themselves, the disenfranchised; and for a long time they could depend on those constituents, including minorities, to vote for them. That time is past; it is no more. They realize that the Democratic Party has lost its way in the many different nuances that they have tried to thread the line on. That they are more interested in political correctness than in bringing down the price of food and energy and controlling crime and the borders. And so they left.

Left us with this unending nightmare where Caracalla and his twin, Elon Musk, are bringing down a once proud and powerful nation, with little or no pushback. Why? Because of a weak and spineless opposition party that cannot seem to find its voice, that so far has not answered to this tenuous time in our history, except by singing “we shall overcome” in the House!

A drastic change is needed right now to counter the haphazard behavior of the Crimson King. We need to get back to the normalcy in government that we have been accustomed to for such a long time. Maybe that is what the problem is! There is no more normalcy; chaos reigns, and will, for a very long time!
