Logan appeared in the #1 Court in front of Chief Magistrate Herbert Lord, where he pleaded not guilty to the charge, but was denied bail and remanded to the Hattieville Prison. According to a 14-year-old student who visited the police station in the company of her father, at about 11:40 a.m. on August 24, she and her 13-year old female friend were walking on Lizarraga Avenue. The man came from the opposite direction and stopped in front of them. The man then placed his right hand in his front right pocket and uttered the following words: ?If yuh scream or try to run, den ah wah shot uno, cause I have a gun.? Fearing for their lives, they both handed over their cellphones to the man, who then rode off. According to the police report, while the girls were at the police station giving their statements to police, a man who fitted the description of the thief they said robbed them was brought into the station.
