BELIZE CITY, Thurs. Sept. 29, 2016–The Belize Body Building and Fitness Federation (BBBFF) held its Annual National Championship, “Mr. Belize 2016” on Saturday, September 24, at the Bliss Center for the Performing Arts.
The Bliss was the battlefield and came alive when male and female athletes competed for the prestigious title of Mr. Belize 2016 and Ms. Bikini Fitness. It was a battle of the muscles, as the competition was fierce, and below we have the official results of the winners for each category.
We had the assistance of members of the IFBB and representatives of the Central America Confederation, who were among our distinguished panel of local judges. We would like to acknowledge the beautiful Ms. Belize Universe, Rebecca Rath, for gracing us with her beauty, as she assisted in handing out the prizes; thanks to our Chief Judge, Dr. Leroy Almendarez; Josephine Gault, Secretary for the Judges Committee; and the panel of local Judges: Wendy Oxley Assad, Pete Castillo, Ray Usher, Josephine Gault & Guy Neal; to the Chief Statistician, Mr. George Myvette and his team: Colin Griffith, Jr. & Trisha Saunders; to Guy Neal our back stage Judge; and to all the BBBFF Executive; photographers, Mr. Tony Rath & Mr. Michael Arnold; and friends of Bodybuilding for their support; and to the fans for coming out to witness the “Battle of Muscles.”
