BDFA Inter-Office results, schedule

BELIZE CITY, Thurs. Dec. 1, 2016–The Belize District Football Association (BDFA) Inter-Office football tournament continued with a full schedule of games this week at the MCC Grounds.

In the only game on Tuesday night, November 29, RF&G Insurance and Belize Bank played to a 1-1 draw. Kevin Martinez (7’) shook the net for RF&G, while Francisco Briceno (55’) equalized for Belize Bank. Despite the score, the game was awarded to Belize Bank after the RF&G female player was issued a red card and no other female was available for play. The rules state that a female must be on the field at all times.

In the opener on Wednesday night, November 30, Belize City Council clipped Smart 2-1, with a goal each from Simon Alvarez (12’) and David McCaulay (70’); while Stephen Baizer (23’) scored for Smart. And in the nightcap, it was Latino’s FC, 1-0, over BWS, with a goal from Yancy Ek (65’).

Tonight’s games will be National Aggregates vs BTL, and Tourist Village FC vs KHMH.

7:00 p.m. – BTL vs Belize Bank Ltd.
8:25 p.m. – Smart vs KHMH
Thursday, December 8
7:00 p.m. – BCC vs Tourist Village FC
8:25 p.m. – RF&G Insurance vs Latino’s FC
