BELIZE CITY, Thurs. Nov. 28, 2019– A Belize City man who was found hanging by a shoe lace in a cell at the Queen Street Police Station yesterday, Wednesday, has been identified as Jose Espinosa.

Senior Superintendent of Police Hilberto Romero told the media today that police made checks at the cell block and found Espinosa hanging from one of the cell bars.

Romero said Espinosa, 39, a laborer of North Front Street, was remanded on a charge of common assault.
