BELIZE CITY, Mon. May 5, 2025

Undefeated Belize United is leading the Belize District Football Association (BDFA) Under-17 2024-2025 Closing Season tournament with 10 pts from 3 wins and a draw, enjoying their 3rd win at the Marion Jones Sports Complex in Belize City on Thursday morning, May 1.

Jacob Joseph’s brace, (30’ & 35’) led Belize United to a 2-1 win over the Reality Youths, for whom Dennis Nuñez (5’) had struck first.

Jacob had also scored the first goal in their 2nd win, 4-2, over the defending champions, Yabra FC, and other goals came by Juan Diego Dussan (28’), Eric Flores (56’) and Jaheem Flowers (70’). Only Esmond “Bagger” Sanker scored a brace (26’ & 67’) for Yabra FC.
