Belizean-American Adrienne Barillas killed in South Korea

BELIZE CITY, Mon. Sept. 24, 2018– A Belizean-American, Adrienne Barillas, who was serving in the United States Army and was posted in South Korea, reportedly died from a grenade blast.

The circumstances surrounding Barillas’ death are unclear at the present time and her family is awaiting an official report from the US government about how she was killed while she was on active duty in South Korea.

Barillas attended St. Joseph Primary School and after completing her primary school education, she enrolled at Pallotti High School, after which she attended St. John’s College Junior College.

Barillas’s friends, family and admirers took to social media and described her as a beautiful soul with so much life.
Barillas was the daughter of Carlos Michael Barillas.
