BELIZE CITY, Thurs. Jan. 23, 2020– This morning, the C-Ray D. Banner Thursday Race started as usual in front of Data Pro on the Boom Hattieville Road, headed towards the roundabout in Hattieville, and returned, for a total of 23.8 miles. This morning, the race averaged 25.4 mph and was completed in a time of 55 minutes 36 seconds.

Darien Anderson of Team Smart picked up the first station prize at the Hattieville Prison, and Jafari Castro of Clear the Land Cycling Team picked up the second on the return at Fresh Pond Village.

Finishing 1st in the Elite category was Darien Anderson, 2nd was Wasani Castro of Clear the Land Cycling Team, and 3rd was Jafari Castro.

In the Non-Elite category, 1st was Ray Cattouse of C-Ray D. Banner, 2nd was Warren Coye of Team Santino’s, and 3rd was Anthony Tun of Future Innovations.

Racing continues over the weekend, as we continue with our Saturday races. The race starts at Data Pro, goes to the Mile 8 roundabout on the George Price Highway, and returns to Data Pro. Race start at 6:30 a.m., with over $1,500.00 cash being given away, as prizes across the different categories.
