C-Ray Full Throttle Thursday Race #2 – May 20

BELIZE CITY, Thurs. May 20, 2021– The C-Ray Full Throttle Thursday Race series for 2021 continued this morning with Race #2 also on the new route which is the airport/John Smith Road circuit. Some 54 cyclists from different categories participated, with back-to-back winner Giovanni Lovell setting a new record of 51:02 for the 21-mile journey with a 24.7 mph average. Below are the results by category.

TOP 5 OVERALL – 1st Giovanni Lovell; 2nd Brandon Cattouse; 3rd Jyven Gonzalez; 4th Wasani Castro; 5th Marlon Castillo.

WOMEN – 1st Kaya Cattouse; 2nd Alicia Thompson; 3rd Nicole Gallego.

JUNIOR/FEMALE – 1st Gabrielle Gabourel.

NOVICE – 1st Shawn Gordon; 2nd Atlee Lozano

MASTERS “A” (35-44yrs) – 1st Brandon Cattouse; 2nd Kenroy “Smokes” Gladden; 3rd Vallan Symns.
