SportsC-Ray Saturday Race results for February 7

BELIZE CITY, Mon. Feb. 9, 2015–The C-Ray Cycling Club held its 5th Saturday Race on Saturday, February 7. The race started in front of Leslie’s Imports, travelled up the George Price (Western) Highway, made a right at the Hattieville roundabout, through Boom road, turned at the half-way point at Bissett Gas Station, and finished back at Leslie’s Imports. The race was open to all cyclists of the Junior, Female, Weekend Warriors, Category 4/5 and Elite Categories; one race with separate prizes. Below are the results for the 5th Saturday race:

JUNIOR: 1st – Anthony Marin (Cabral/Marin Racing); 2nd – Brian Sutherland (Cabral/Marin Racing).

FEMALE: 1st – Kaya Cattouse (C-Ray); 2nd –Alicia Thompson (Belize Bank Swoosh).

Category 4/5 & Weekend Warriors: 1st – George Abraham (Bel-Cal Cycling); 2nd – Orson Butler (Unattached); 3rd – Ronald “Jack” Sutherland (Digicell 4G).

ELITE: 1st – Brandon Cattouse (C-Ray); 2nd – Marlon Castillo (Santino’s); 3rd – Giovanni Lovell (Digicell 4G).

TOP 20 OVERALL: 1st – Brandon Cattouse; 2nd – Marlon Castillo; 3rd – Giovanni Lovell; 4th – Tarique Flowers; 5th – Grevory Lovell; 6th – David Henderson; 7th – Byron Pope; 8th – Leroy Cassasola; 9th – Henry Moriera; 10th – Giovanni “Froggy” Leslie; 11th – Rafael Choto; 12th – Giovanni Choto; 13th – Phillip Leslie; 14th – Mark Staine; 15th – Stephen Cabral; 16th – Peter Choto; 17th – George Abraham; 18th – Darnell Barrow; 19th – Delawn Abraham; 20th – Kaya Cattouse.

The series will continue on Saturday, February 14. Registration starts at 6:00 a.m. in front of Leslie’s Imports; $10.00.
