Corozal F.A. U-Tournaments Week 2 report and upcoming schedule

SportsCorozal F.A. U-Tournaments Week 2 report and upcoming schedule

COROZAL TOWN, Tues. Feb. 12, 2019– The Corozal Football Association (CFA) continued its 2918-2019 Closing Season tournaments over the weekend with Week 2 games on Saturday and Sunday at the Ricalde Stadium.

Saturday, February 9, was a great day for us. The FFB U-17 national selection played against the Corozal U-17 selection; we lost, 6-0. To end the night just the right way, the CFA 1st Division Amateur Semifinals (Home) was played between Chunox FC and San Antonio NGO. This was the anticipated game by most fans. It was a challenging game, and at the end, San Antonio NGO wins, 3-1.

On Sunday, February 10, the day started with our U-tournaments, all going well. To end the day, Corozal Scorpions played against Belize Black Orchid (a National Amateur Women’s League match). Black Orchid won, 7-0, against Corozal.

We are very grateful to the Corozal community for their continued trust, for helping us deliver the best services to our children and youths.

We want to take this opportunity to thank each and every player from the different teams that made up the Corozal U-17 Selection. Thank you too, Mr. Errol Aranda (Coach).
