DANGRIGA, Stann Creek District, Wed. Jan. 20, 2021– Police are investigating the murder of a 23-year-old man which took place in the Stann Creek District on Wednesday just after 6:00 p.m. The victim, Dennis Robinson, 23, was gunned down in the Monument Site Area of Dangriga Town. When police arrived on the scene, they saw Robinson’s motionless body.
Reports are that the deceased left home to go to the store at around 6:05 p.m. that evening. It was when he was on his way back home that an unknown assailant ambushed and shot him multiple times. Reports to local media are that when Robinson’s father heard the barrage of gunshots, he went outside to see what had occurred, only to find his son on the ground and the gunman fleeing the crime scene.
He set chase after his son’s assailant, but the individual got away.
