DANGRIGA, Stann Creek District, Mon. Jan. 21, 2019– Karen Valentine, 51, a domestic of Dangriga, and Marlon Palacio, 37, a chef of Gumagarugu Road, Dangriga, have been arrested and charged with drug trafficking, and they have been detained pending arraignment at the Dangriga Magistrate’s Court.

We were told that there is no magistrate in Dangriga until Friday, so Valentine and Palacio remain detained until Friday, when they will be taken to court.

Police said that at about 5:30 last Friday evening, they went to Valentine’s house on Papa Mena Street, Rivas Estate, Dangriga, where they found 94 grams of cocaine wrapped in little bags. Valentine and Palacio, along with the cocaine, were taken to the police station, where they were booked and the cocaine was deposited as an exhibit.
