COROZAL, Mon. Oct. 19, 2020– A female cop and four other females were caught in possession of over 20 pounds of cannabis on Saturday, October 17, 2020.

Sometime around 10:30 p.m., Corozal police intercepted a silver Honda pickup between Miles 77 and 78 on the Philip Goldson Highway and conducted a search, which resulted in the discovery of 10 parcels of cannabis weighing just over 23 pounds.

The five female occupants of the pickup— police officer Stephanie Patten Pima, Leidi Hall, Alexia Burns, Ann Marie Burns and a 16-year-old female minor — were taken into custody and charged with possession of drugs with intent to supply.

Based on a follow-up investigation, police were also able to jointly charge forty-two-year-old Berres Anglin, a resident of Orange Walk, for the same offence.
