SportsFFB says all visitors must be vaccinated

BELIZE CITY, Mon. Sept. 6, 2021– Yesterday, the Football Federation of Belize (FFB) issued a press release which states that only vaccinated persons will be allowed to conduct business at the federation’s headquarters in Belmopan.

Visitors will be mandated to produce proof of vaccination before entering and doing business at the Belmopan office.

Persons will also be required to register at the security desk, be sanitized, and undergo a temperature check.

The FFB has been engaged in ongoing work with the Ministry of Health and Wellness and the Ministry of Sports to drive forward the vaccination of athletes.

The release from the FFB says, “Safeguarding life and health are our top priorities; therefore, the FFB is taking all the necessary measures to ensure the safety of our athletes and staff by putting these measures in place.”
