The body found floating earlier this morning was identified as Michael Cobo, 18. He was found in an advance state of decomposition. Family members identified him by a tattoo mark on his hand. Cobo was last seen in the Yabra area in Belize City on Friday, November 29. More on this in our friday edition of the newspaper.
AMANDALA, a biweekly newspaper published on Tuesdays and Fridays, was founded as an organ of the United Black Association for Development (UBAD), which emerged on August 13, 1969. Even after UBAD was divided and later dissolved in 1974, AMANDALA remained.
