REQUEST FOR AIRTIME


The Government of Belize through its Press Office will this week launch a new one hour bimonthly radio/television program entitled: ?What?s Up with Government?.


The objective of this new program is to promote the official and current policies and achievements of the government through public information. It is intended that the Prime Minister along with other Public Officials will use this medium to update Belizeans on its cultural, social and financial status of the government, etc.


In accordance with the Belize Broadcasting & Television Act, Revised Schedule of Terms and Conditions for Radio License (revised as of May 3, 2006), the Press Office hereby request usage of the ?one hour per week broadcasting time, free of cost ? to be aired at mutually determined times? as stated in Clause 19 bimonthly, commencing this Sunday, 15thOctober 2006.


It would be appreciated if the hour given to this office can be between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
