The incident allegedly occurred after the employee had exited the bank. Police were alerted and immediately sped to the area, where they set chase after the get-away vehicle used by the men.

The chase ended at a residence, #5815 Bachelor Avenue, West Landivar, where three members of a family were present.

Amandala spoke with a daughter of the 59-year-old owner, who is tonight traumatized after several shots were fired inside her yard, moments after she called her 5-year-old granddaughter inside. She called her in, the daughter said, when a car that her mother did not recognize pulled into the yard and parked. Almost immediately afterwards, shots rang out.

Giving her version of the story, a neighbor said that she saw a speeding car drive into her neighbor?s yard, and shortly after, another vehicle, which seemed to be in pursuit of the first vehicle, drove up.

She said that suddenly she saw a man come out of the vehicle and yelled out: ?You b?ch!? and fired three to four shots towards the car parked in the yard. One of the men was trying to escape, and she saw police nab the two left inside and forced them to the ground, as they placed them under arrest, she added.

We understand from various accounts that police managed to catch a third suspect shortly afterwards, presumably the one who was trying to run away.

Unconfirmed reports are that at press time, two other suspects remain on the run.

The lady we spoke with from #5815 Bachelor Avenue told us that the suspects are of no relation to them.
