God save the King

FeaturesGod save the King

I caught the coronation of Queen E’s eldest son at the most opportune time, when the armed forces were doing their part on the beautiful green in front of Buckingham Palace. You would have had to pay me to sit through the church thing, ehm, especially since the Catholics had no hand in it. The NBC announcer said it was two long whopping hours! Catholics have far better appreciation of time than those other religions have. Or maybe it is because Faada has to hop on over to another congregation, so he can wap out another glass of wine. Hmm, there’s no better advertisement for something than people enjoying it.

Hurray for the British: there was Premier League football on the day of the coronation. They just held the whistle until after the ceremonies for Queen E’s son were done. Pardon me, but I have to say our Premier League really, really messed up. What — did our football league send out a release saying there would be no football for a second consecutive weekend because a legal mind in the protest committee couldn’t make a simple decision? The contentious matter is unusual, probably never happened anywhere before, but anyone familiar with fair play could have easily handled that situation. Oh, for those who are clueless, I understand the core issue is that referees went to a venue to officiate a game, and didn’t because the host club hadn’t provided for their accommodation.

Rolling on, I read that 9 countries were denied entry to the show on Saturday. Russia, Belarus, Myanmar, Syria, Venezuela, Afghanistan, Iran, North Korea, and Nicaragua got snubbed. In defense of Venezuela, I will say that they are being victimized the same way Cuba was. Some rich Americans and filthy rich Venezuelans don’t want to share the wealth with the masses, and with us. As for Nicaragua, I really don’t understand what’s going on there.

Did they really sing “gracious” king? Those British need to check themselves if they want to retain their respect in the Commonwealth. The Wikipedia says that in 1745 The Gentleman’s Magazine published “God save our lord, the king”, and isn’t that so much more appropriate? It’s their language, roots and all, and over here “gracious” in certain contexts is acceptable when referring to the actions of a man, but we wouldn’t use it that way. If they don’t want to say “lord,” they could say “valiant”, or why not “patient”, for the brother waited long and very, ehm, meekly for his turn at the helm. I am sorry, I’m not going to sing no “gracious king” when Brother Charles and Queen Camilla come for a visit.

There are non-white people who thought the entire show was a sham, and many are angry because those British are trying to duck responsibility for their sins. We should work on them Royals, but not get too worked up. Anyone who needs some ease on that load, well, I have got a treasured morsel to help them stop breathing so fitfully. One day I said to the mighty Ibrahim Abdullah that we should just up and overthrow those bohgaz. You have to hand it to elders: they are filled with so much wisdom. Brother Abdullah said, oh no, it’s not our place to use muscle. It’s the age we are living in. It’s God who has them propped up, and when He is ready, so He put them there, so He will take them down.

Staying with the race card, and other demographics, I estimate 500 to 1 white to not white in the throng that slept outside the palace just so they could witness the very moment when Charles became king. Everywhere you turn, the young are into the disrespect game. They were very poorly represented on the lawn. I estimate the people over 40 outnumbered people between 15 and 40 also by 500 to 1.

Can you believe Love FM did not transmit coverage of the show? It’s like that crowd is trying to present a “rebel” image. If so, they’re thoroughly misguided in the way they’re going about that initiative. I think I got into trouble with Assad Shoman when I suggested to him that before he shares our truths he needs to share about his personal huge GCP bias over PSWG. Well, if Love FM persists, we’ll have to do the exposé thing. George Price, the founder of that station, might have tweaked the tiger’s tail, but after a single lapse that almost caused him to get his butt thrown in jail, he always gave our British friends/former bosses their proper props. Love FM from the get-go is status quo.

I’m not with our leader predicting that we’ll become republican. Of course, what he said is no surprise. Hn, I bet he and many of his PUP friends feel very manly about the quote in the UK Guardian. Well, there’ll be a big tussle over that. And there’ll be a bigger one over that daring crowd that is after taking the Almighty out of the Constitution. I really hope dehn get the sense and slow down on their pushiness after their over-ambition caused that big fall in sales of that Budweiser beer.

Now how did I allow philistines to get me off course? Whoa there, Charles is Queen E’s son! And for her we sing, God save the king!

His wild wife gave fodder to that US black judge’s enemies.

If a man were judged solely by the color of his skin all the time, there would have been big celebrations in the African American community when Clarence Thomas was appointed to the US Supreme Court in 1991. Instead, when Thomas was named for greatness, there was rage in the majority of the black American world, and major efforts to block him.

Aha, the grilling of Clarence before he got the job, those in BZE City, BMP, and the towns saw it all. Television was already in many homes then, and who didn’t have were frequent visitors to the homes of friends and family who had. A black woman lawyer, Anita Hill, turned up as the key card to derail Thomas, but her accusations that he was a low sex fiend were ignored.

Who controls the US Supreme Court controls America. Thomas was made a Supreme Court judge by the first George Bush, to replace the aging civil rights hero, Thurgood Marshall, the first African- American on the court. As skin goes, Clarence is black and Thurgood was high brown, paylkaypm, and that should have counted for something, though over there white supremacy by law did not support if yu brown stick around. Ah, the Bush presidents were Republicans, and that party in the US is anti- abortion, anti-LGBT, and pro big business, and the main African American allies in the civil rights movement were “liberated” white women and gays, and Black Americans like better wealth distribution.

People might like you because of the color of your skin, but they will get past that, into your substance. When dehn peel off Clarence’s skin, they neva like what they see.

He might have gotten through to retirement facing only disdain and derision if his wife wasn’t such a zealot. The evidence we have says she most disappointingly was party to, supportive of, that January 6th insurrection that exposed to the world the fragility of the US democracy, and now the enemies of Thomas raise op like faiya ants.

Ouch, even the minorest financial transaction he has been involved in, every gift or favor he or his family has received over his lifetime and particularly since 1991, is under the microscope. Poor Clarence, they don’t care that he grew up dirt poor, and the man really has some sterling qualities, and he is definitely no big teef. They want him because he doant support abortion and he doant support so much license to gays. And he is full-blown free market.
