Henry Moriera won the SHELL Ultra Helix New Year’s Cycling Classic, organized by Weekend Warriors Club, which travelled from Carmelita Village on the Philip Goldson Highway, through the John Smith bypass road, via the Westlake roundabout onto the George Price Highway, to the finish line at the Old Belize Museum at Cucumber Beach on Sunday morning, January 19.
Below are the top finishers in the different Weekend Warrior race categories:

Over 80 riders had suited up for the race. All trophies, finish cash prizes, and $50.00 station prize were sponsored by SHELL Ultra Helix motor oils.
Category A Station prizes: Mile 35- Greg Lovell; Smart tower – Darian Anderson; Gardenia community – Darian Anderson; Precision Auto – Adrian Williams; Club Eruption – Tyrin Tasher; John Smith bypass – Darian Anderson; Mile 8 roundabout – Kent Gabourel.
Category B Station prizes: Mile 35 – Julio Dzul; Old Highway junction in Sandhill – Julio Dzul; Precision Auto – Julio Dzul; Mile 12 – Julio Dzul; Roadside Diner – Julio Dzul.
Category C Station prizes: Dave Yearwood swept all station prizes at Crooked Tree, Precision Auto Body Shop ($100.00), and Roadside Diner ($25.00).
