BELIZE CITY, Tues. Dec. 31, 2019– Luke Barrow, 23, a laborer of the Gungulung area in Lake Independence, Belize City, was standing by the lane which leads to his house at about 9:00 last night when a man came up and fired at him, and the gunman then ran out of the area.
Sheryl Barrow, Luke’s mother, said that he suffered gunshot wounds in his chest and in his arm. He was in the area near his house selling marijuana, but the motive for the shooting is not yet known. He is currently in a stable condition in the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.
An investigation into the shooting has commenced, but so far no one has been arrested for shooting Barrow.
