Napoles FC and Sagitun Girlz FC both enjoyed big wins in Week 4 of the Premier Women’s League of Belize (PWLB) tournament organized by the Football Federation of Belize (FFB) over the weekend.

On Saturday night, Kenya Perez’s brace (17’ & 45+2’) led the undefeated Sagitun Girlz to their 3rd win, 3-0, over the defending PWLB champions, Jewel Fury FC, who suffered their first loss at the Michael Ashcroft Stadium in Independence Village. Jolene Aranda (71’) added a 3rd goal to seal the 3-0 win.

On Sunday evening, Napoles FC enjoyed their 2nd win, as they marched over the winless Cayo Dreamers, 8-0, for whom it was their 4th loss at the Santa Elena Sports Complex. Carlene Tillett’s beaver hat trick (19’, 46’, 54’ & 90+3’) led the attack, and Roshany Narvaez added a brace (6’ & 22’) after Jayda Brown (4’) had opened the scoreboard. Jerlin Salazar (42’) delivered the 5th goal.
