ORANGE WALK TOWN, Mon. Aug. 26, 2019– The Orange Walk Billiards Association (OWBA) would like to inform the general public that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held this Sunday at Darvis Cool Spot, starting at 10:30 a.m. sharp. Topics on the agenda for the meeting are financial report for 2019, congratulations to the 2019 National Champion from Orange Walk (Team Chatta), and most importantly, election of the new OWBA. We urge all players, fans/supporters to attend in order to have the best Association countrywide.
AMANDALA, a biweekly newspaper published on Tuesdays and Fridays, was founded as an organ of the United Black Association for Development (UBAD), which emerged on August 13, 1969. Even after UBAD was divided and later dissolved in 1974, AMANDALA remained.
