Pen Cayetano and his family band, the Cayetanos, will host an upcoming concert – Love and Peace for Youth Development, at the Mauvelene Memorial Park in Belmopan this Sunday, May 11 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Organizers say that the purpose of the free concert is to engage youths in positive and inspiring music and arts.

“We believe music and arts have a very dynamic role in our social life and culture,” they said.

They added that, “The concert will represent a new movement to facilitate positive change through clean and uplifting music, and art in action.”

During the concert, youths will be invited to interact with MBE Cultural Ambassador Pen Cayetano and his family band and become themselves creative youth cultural ambassadors in the near future.

They are planning to expand the initiative by developing additional art and music programs and workshops based on accessible grant fund opportunities.

The event is being spearheaded by PCDYouth, an initiative of the Cayetanos.
