The defending champions, Police, will be challenged by Tuff e’Nuff in the Interoffice Basketball League (IBL) finals, having eliminated the Airport team, 64-56, in Game 3 of their semifinal series at the Belize City Civic Center on Friday night, November 1.

Herman Ramos led the Police attack on Friday night, as he struck from outside the circle for 13 pts, while Kevin Brown put up 12 pts. Other contributors to the Police tally were Sheldon Williams, 10 pts; Gilbert Leslie, 7 pts; Jamal Augustine, 6 pts; Jorett Jones, 5 pts; Linton Broaster and Akeem Trapp, 4 pts each; and Alyson Revers, 3 pts.

Michael Shaw and Zahir Harris led the Airport crew with 14 pts each, Shaqueem Valerio and Xylon Belgrave posted 11 pts apiece, and Justin Wade shot 4 pts. Edward Adu threw in a bucket.

The Finals begin on Friday night, November 8.
