Games continued this past weekend for the Premier Women’s League of Belize (PWLB) as it concluded Week 7 and the first round of the double round-robin in its inaugural football season.
For the weekend, three games took place at various venues in the country on Saturday, May 25.
The results are below:
Rising Phoenix hosted Caribbean Tires at Carolina Village field in Corozal, where they were unable to defend home turf, losing 1-0 to the visitors.
Meanwhile, Sagitun Girlz FC was able to hold off the visiting Napoles FC at the M.A. Stadium in Independence, securing a victory, 2-1.
Jewel Fury hosted and demolished Old Capital Turf Warriors at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium in Belmopan, 11-nil.
