BELIZE CITY, Tues. Aug. 13, 2019– The Belize Rural Female Softball Tournament 2019 completed its regular season with 3 games played on Sunday, August 11, at Lords Bank.
In the opener, Orchid Girls of Burrell Boom defeated Lords Bank Sunrise, 10-3. Winning pitcher was Yvette Flowers; losing pitcher was Karen Hilton.
Game 2 saw Orchid Girls defeating Unity of Double Head, 17-7. Yvette Flowers was again the winning pitcher; while the loser was Annette McFadzean.
And in the nightcap, it was Lords Bank Sunrise with the 10-4 win over Arrows Reloaded of Bermudian Landing. Winning pitcher was Karen Hilton; and losing pitcher was Herlet Bull.
The page system will be employed in the 4-team playoffs, scheduled to be hosted this Sunday in Lords Bank.
