BELIZE CITY, Thurs. Aug. 1, 2019– This past Sunday, July 28, at the Burrell Boom football field, Week 10 games were played in the Belize Rural North Football Tournament for the Edmond “Clear the Land” Castro Cup 2019.

In game 1, (U-17) Kings College Strikers dropped Maskall Youths, 1-0, on a goal by Akeem Gillett (17’).

Game 2 (Seniors) saw Burrell Boomers playing to a 1-1 draw with Maskall United. Hosni Thurton (49’) put Maskall in front, but Ever Simon (82’) got the equalizer for Boom.

In game 3, (Seniors) Lucky Strike Titans beat Corozalito Untouchables, 4-0, on a goal apiece by Keenan Gillett (19’) and Delroy “Tin Man” Andrews (36’), while Freddie Stevens added the next two (61’ & 74’).

This coming Sunday, August 4, there will be 1 regular season match along with 3 semifinal games.

Upcoming Week 11 games will be at Sandhill Village:

Sunday, August 4, Sandhill
10:30 a.m. – (U-17 semifinal) Survival Youths vs Maskall Youths
12:00 noon – (U-17 semifinal) Sandhill Youth vs Kings College Strikers
1:30 p.m. – (Seniors regular season) Fabers Rd. United vs Survival FC
3:30 p.m. – (Seniors semifinal) Corozalito Untouchables vs Lucky Strike Titans

Nuff food, drinks, & music from 11:00 a.m., “Clear the Land” style!!

Entrance Fee:  Adults – $3.00; Kids – FREE!!
