BELIZE CITY, Mon. Nov. 23, 2015–Here are the Weekend Warriors (WW) results from the Dangriga T.V. Ramos Classic held yesterday, November 22, in beautiful Dangriga. The WW race left Wadani Shed at 10:25 a.m. for the “A” & “B” riders, went all the way to the Placencia Junction on the Southern Highway, and returned to the Shed, for 54 miles. The WW “C” class, alongside the Dangriga & P.G. riders, went to Maya Center and back.

Some 32 riders started the race.

Dangriga sports stats – More on T.V. Ramos Cycling Classic

DANGRIGA, Tue. Nov. 24, 2015–Just a short addition, concerning the T.V. Ramos Cycling Classic on Sunday, the Weekend Warriors “A” and “B” categories also went to the Placencia junction and back; only the Weekend Warriors “C” category went to Maya Centre, along with the Juniors category.

Football

The Rodwell Ferguson Football Tournament games are played every weekend at the Pomona New Site football field.

On Saturday night, Silk Grass Southern Strikers won over Alta Vista High, 4 goals 1. Erick Clarke got a hat trick (3 goals) and Asad Sho got the other for Silk Grass. Joseph Brooks got the lone goal for Alta Vista High from the penalty spot. In the second game, Pomona Sliders won over CPBL Barracks, 8 goals to 1.

On Sunday, Texas Warriors did not show up, so the 3 points was awarded to Alta Vista Scavengers. The second match also was not played, because Valley Stars failed to show up, so Umadagu was awarded the 3 points. Only the scheduled third game was played, and Santa Cruz L.D. South Rock won over Valley Shattaz, 3 goals to 1. Alex Cruz scored 2 and Bryan Guerrero got the other for Santa Cruz; while Gabriel Bardales got the only goal for Valley Shattaz.
