In the finals we saw Carrie Roberson take control of the game from the start. She was controlling the ball well and hitting solid ground strokes. Sofie could not seem to cope with this type of game and therefore did not get into her rhythm. Carrie went on to win 6-2, 6-1. At 15 years old, she is the youngest player to win the National Junior Singles Championship. Sofie dedicated her trophy to her late father Gonzalo Vasquez who was also an avid tennis enthusiast.

In the Men?s Division, Juan Ramirez, Saido Musa, Andrew Harrison, Stefan Musa, Ellison Flowers and Wilhelm Casey all won their first round matches and advanced to the quarterfinals. After some hard fought matches in the quarterfinals round, we saw the No.1 Seed Jason Musa advance to the finals by defeating Saido Musa in straight sets 6-0, 6-0 and the No. 2 Seed Peter Quan advancing to the finals by defeating Stefan Musa 6-3, 6-2.
